Rubin Kazan faces resistance in South American transfer bids

Russian club Rubin Kazan has expressed interest in South American football talent, though recent transfer attempts have met resistance from club managements.

In Argentina, San Lorenzo rejected a formal offer from Rubin Kazan for striker Alexis Cuello. The Russian side proposed US$2.5 million for 60% of the player's economic rights, but the Boedo-based club determined the conditions were insufficient to authorize the sale. Cuello remains with the squad and is available to the coaching staff.

In Colombia, Rubin Kazan has also shown interest in Cúcuta Deportivo forward Jaime Peralta. While the 21-year-old has attracted attention following key performances, Cúcuta Deportivo is reportedly unwilling to sell their top player during the current competition, citing the difficulty of replacing him in the current market.
