Rubén Martínez elected mayor of José A. Fassardi

Rubén Martínez, a businessman and volunteer firefighter representing the ANR, has been elected mayor of José A. Fassardi. His victory marks the end of a 26-year period of liberal administration in the municipality, which had been controlled by the Torres family.

During his campaign, Martínez focused on job creation, support for small producers, and opportunities for youth. His platform also included projects for student transportation, sports, music, and agricultural machinery assistance.
