Rubén Omar Romano completes cancer treatment

Argentine former footballer, coach, and current television analyst Rubén Omar Romano has completed a 35-day oncological treatment. Romano shared a video on social media showing him ringing a hospital bell, a traditional gesture marking the end of cancer treatment, accompanied by his wife, Paola, and his daughters.

This recent medical process follows Romano’s previous experience with prostate cancer, which involved a nearly year-long medical process and surgery. He has used his personal history to participate in Liga MX campaigns focused on promoting early detection and awareness of prostate cancer.

Romano expressed gratitude to his family and his colleagues at Fox for their support during his two-month treatment period. He has since returned to his professional duties as a football analyst.
