Rubén Yanni, the individual central to a viral video involving an incident at the Intendencia, has provided his account of the events. Yanni claims he was a victim of police violence and an unjustified legal process.

According to Yanni, he visited the institution to register as a classifier but was denied due to an expired health certificate. He expressed frustration over the refusal and alleged that job placements at the Intendencia are handled through favoritism rather than fair processes. While admitting he shouted to exercise his freedom of expression, he denied using insults.

Yanni further alleged that during his detention, police officers used force, including hitting and stepping on him, resulting in physical injuries. He also claimed that his rights were not read to him and that he was denied access to legal counsel or family members. He is currently seeking a public apology from both the institution and the police.
