Rubrik and Pegasystems roll out AI agents for cyber resilience and legacy system transformation

Rubrik announced its Rubrik AI platform, an autonomous, agent‑based solution that operates across the Rubrik Security Cloud and Rubrik Agent Cloud. The system is designed to identify security threats, execute machine‑speed recovery workflows and provide traceable actions to mitigate risks from both external AI attacks and compromised internal agents. CEO Bipul Sinha said, "Customers define the business goals, Rubik AI analyses the situation and acts autonomously to achieve them."

Pegasystems introduced a four‑stage AI‑agent framework aimed at preserving implicit knowledge in legacy systems during modernization. The approach, termed “knowledge‑centric legacy transformation,” uses specialised agents to extract, structure and migrate entrenched business rules and exception logic, reducing the common failures of “rip‑and‑replace” projects. Florian Lauck‑Wunderlich, Global Director Business Excellence at Pegasystems, noted that the method keeps proven processes while enabling faster, targeted upgrades.
