Ruby Rose reveals false accusation of child's death at age 15

Actress Ruby Rose has shared details regarding a traumatic incident from her youth in which she was falsely accused of causing the death of a child. Speaking on the ‘Off the Vine’ podcast, Rose recounted that at age 15, she discovered a four-year-old boy severely injured at a playground in the Australian bushland.

Rose stated that she attempted to help the child by carrying him to a nearby house where adults performed CPR until emergency services arrived. Although the boy was initially stabilized, he later died in the hospital due to brain death. Following the incident, Rose faced intense scrutiny from police and was labeled a “baby killer” by classmates.

The accusations were eventually cleared when the boy’s older brother came forward to the police. He explained that he had accidentally pushed his brother down a slide, where the child became caught on a nail, and had fled the scene in a panic. The brother reportedly experienced dissociative amnesia following the event. Despite being exonerated, Rose noted that she was excluded from the child’s funeral at the request of the boy’s mother.
