Ruda Śląska: Man arrested for fuel theft and driving bans

A 32-year-old man was arrested in Ruda Śląska after stealing nearly 600 PLN worth of diesel fuel from a gas station on Piłsudskiego Street. The individual used an Iveco delivery van to fill canisters and fled the scene without paying.

The station owner pursued the vehicle and provided real-time location updates to the police, leading to the driver's apprehension on Kokota Street. Upon inspection, authorities discovered the man was subject to three active court-ordered driving bans, including one lifetime prohibition on operating any motor vehicle. He faces charges for both the theft of fuel and the violation of his judicial driving bans, which carries a potential penalty of up to five years in prison.
