Poland regional municipalities launch diverse infrastructure and cultural projects

Various Polish municipalities and regions are implementing diverse infrastructure and cultural development projects funded by European and national programs.

In the Opolskie Voivodeship, 16 agreements under the LEADER program have been signed, totaling approximately 5.68 million PLN, with 4.7 million PLN in subsidies. These funds target the protection of local heritage and public infrastructure, including the renovation of a 19th-century chapel in Krośnica and the modernization of bicycle routes in Chrząstowice.

In the Podkarpackie region, the municipality of Rudnik nad Sanem is leading a 16.5 million PLN project to develop cultural services, which includes equipping a local culture house and constructing a new Rural Culture Center in Przędzel.

Sports infrastructure is also seeing significant updates. In Łomża, the Orlik sports complex on Katyńska Street is slated for a 1.5 million PLN modernization. In Ozorków, a municipal stadium field has been fully modernized with new drainage, irrigation, and lighting. Additionally, a new sports complex in Borowie, costing nearly 9 million PLN, is ready for its official opening on September 23.

Other regional developments include Milanówek securing over 9 million PLN for a major swimming pool expansion and Rzgów completing thermal modernization of a culture house and road repairs.
