Rudolstadt and Heiligenstadt implement road closures

Various road closures and traffic disruptions are affecting several regions in Germany. In Rudolstadt, construction work to improve accessibility near the shopping center and repairs on Spansberg street have led to full closures and diversions. These works are part of ongoing infrastructure improvements, including the major renovation of the B 85 Lengefeldstraße.

In Heiligenstadt, the city is implementing extensive traffic restrictions for the 34th Fest der Möhrenkönige. Starting September 10, multiple streets including Göttinger Straße, Ratsgasse, and the Marktplatz will face closures to accommodate the setup of stages and vendor stands. These measures include significant bus stop relocations and large-scale traffic diversions through surrounding streets to ensure safety during the festival preparations.
