Rudrapur man abandons wife after she falls from bike during police evasion

A motorcyclist in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, fled a police checkpoint to avoid traffic enforcement, causing his wife to fall from the vehicle. The incident occurred at Trishul Chowk during a drive targeting riders without helmets or license plates.

Video footage shows the man abruptly swerving his motorcycle to evade officers, which caused his wife, riding pillion, to lose her balance and tumble onto the road. Rather than stopping to assist her, the man continued driving and left the scene.

Traffic police personnel arrived at the spot to assist the woman. According to Circle Officer Vibhav Saini, the woman reported that she sustained no injuries. Following the incident, police provided counseling to the woman before allowing her to return home.
