Rudy Ayoun exhibition to open at Château de Tours

To celebrate 25 years of artist residencies at the University of Tours, an exhibition featuring painter Rudy Ayoun will be held at the Château de Tours from February 19 to August 22, 2027.

Ayoun participated in a 2023-24 residency at the Centre d'études supérieures de la Renaissance (CESR), focusing on research and creation regarding the commemoration of the figure Ronsard in the 21st century. The resulting works include approximately a dozen paintings that use symbols, period furniture, and historical settings to create an indirect portrait of the poet and explore themes of myth and narration.
