Ruefa donates 30,000 euros to Volkshilfe Wien for children

The travel company Ruefa has donated 30,000 euros to Volkshilfe Wien as part of its summer initiative, ‘Ein Urlaub. Zwei Ziele’ (One Vacation. Two Goals). The donation was generated through travel bookings made between June 28 and July 16, 2026.

The funds will support social projects within Volkshilfe Wien, specifically aimed at providing vacations for families and children affected by poverty. Ruefa covered the full amount of the donation, allowing customers to contribute without incurring additional costs.

The check presentation included Ruefa Managing Director Michele Fanton, Volkshilfe Wien President Michael Häupl, Volkshilfe Wien Managing Director Tanja Wehsely, and VERKEHRSBÜRO Board Member Birgit Wallner. The participants highlighted the importance of cooperation between the business sector and social organizations to strengthen social cohesion in Austria.
