Rugby au Cœur allocates 300,000 euros to French amateur clubs
Rugby au Cœur, the endowment fund of the French Rugby Federation (FFR), has announced a distribution of nearly 300,000 euros to 272 amateur clubs for the 2025-2026 campaign.
The funding is based on the Label Club Engagé criteria and focuses on three main areas: player retention, feminization, and refereeing. Specifically, 98 clubs with a retention rate exceeding 80% will each receive 1,200 euros. In the refereeing category, 39 clubs will be recognized based on their school certifications, with awards ranging from 500 to 900 euros.
The initiative is funded by donations from the Rugby au Cœur Gala, including a 50,000 euro contribution from Groupe Artémis specifically designated to support the development of women's rugby.
