The Municipality of Montone is set to inaugurate a new indoor tennis court on Sunday, August 16, at the Via dello Sport sports complex. The facility will be named in honor of Enzo Feligioni, who served as the mayor of Montone from 1970 to 1985, recognizing his contributions to the social and sporting growth of the region.
The new court features a modern steel geodesic cover with PVC sheeting, LED lighting, and a multi-layer acrylic resin playing surface, allowing for year-round use. This project is part of a broader modernization of the municipal sports hub, completed in collaboration with the Istituto per il Credito Sportivo e Culturale (ICSC).
Following a public notice, the management of all municipal sports facilities—including the Piergiorgio Reali stadium, the Macchia del Negrone field, and the new tennis court—has been officially entrusted to A. C. D. Montone to ensure professional and continuous service for local athletes and citizens.
