Rugby Club Częstochowa seniors secure third consecutive victory

The Rugby Club Częstochowa senior team, competing as a combined squad with Rugby Ruda Śląska, secured its third consecutive win in the II liga division. The team defeated Miedziowi Lubin in Blachownia, maintaining its position as the runner-up in the league standings with 15 points and a 3-1 match record.

Coach Mateusz Nowak noted that while the victory achieved the team's goal, there is room for improvement regarding consistency and control over the game. Despite conceding two of three tries in the second half, the team maintained control throughout the match.

The club also reported successful performances from its youth programs. RCC juniors, playing on loan for Budowlani Łódź, defeated Lechia Gdańsk 66:0 in the Centralna Liga Juniorów. Additionally, combined RCC and Budowlani Łódź teams secured second and third place in the II Liga Kadetów tournament in Łódź, while youth teams also competed in the Women's U16 and U13 Polish Rugby 7s Championships in Olsztyn.
