Rugby development initiatives expand in South America

Sudamérica Rugby is launching coaching initiatives to develop future trainers by utilizing former international players from Argentina and Uruguay. On October 19 and 20, World Rugby Level 1 and Level 2 coaching courses will be held in Buenos Aires. The program aims to build a foundation of qualified coaches for high-performance environments, potentially leading to integration into Sudamérica Rugby Academies.

In a separate development, the Taraguy Rugby Club has launched its own academy led by Miguel Castelli. This program focuses on players aged 17 to 22, assisting their transition from youth divisions to senior squads. The academy provides individualized tracking in technical, tactical, physical, and nutritional aspects, while also offering training and methodology tools for club coaches.
