Rugby league teams advance to Grand Finals

The Coolum Colts A-Grade rugby league team have secured their place in the Sunshine Coast Gympie Rugby League Grand Finals following a 62-0 victory over Caloundra. Coach Daniel Brown noted that the win was a reward for the team's training and accountability. This marks the Colts' second Grand Final appearance in three seasons.

In a separate Colts rugby competition, Randwick and Gordon are set to face each other in a Grand Final at Coogee Oval. Randwick enters the match as the minor premiers with only one loss all season, though that defeat came at the hands of Gordon in a 50-40 match earlier this year. Gordon coach Hunter Nicholas expressed confidence in his team's ability to cause an upset following a recent comeback victory against Eastern Suburbs.
