RugOne unveils XLink-7 AI sports walkie-talkie

RugOne has announced the XLink-7, an AI-powered sports walkie-talkie designed for outdoor activities such as cycling, skiing, and hiking. The device is characterized by its compact, 84g lightweight design, similar in size to a wireless earbud charging case.

Unlike traditional radio-frequency walkie-talkies, the XLink-7 utilizes global 4G LTE networks, removing distance limitations as long as cellular coverage is available. It supports full-duplex voice communication, allowing up to three people to converse simultaneously in a manner similar to a phone call. To ensure clarity in windy or noisy environments, the device features a dedicated AI noise-reduction chip capable of handling up to 55dB of ambient noise, with optimizations specifically for speeds up to 40km/h.

For safety, the device includes triple satellite positioning via GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou, alongside an emergency SOS mode that triggers by pressing a button five times. It is built to military standards (MIL-STD-810H) and holds IP68 and IP69K dust and water resistance ratings, enabling operation in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 55°C. The XLink-7 includes a 1,050mAh battery providing up to 87 hours of standby time and 10 hours of continuous talk time. The product will be exhibited at the Hong Kong Computer & Communications Festival 2026 with a suggested retail price of HK$1,099.
