Ruhrgebiet hosts new week of 'Das perfekte Dinner' competition
The cooking competition series 'Das perfekte Dinner' is featuring contestants from the Ruhrgebiet region. The week of August 31 to September 4 includes five amateur chefs competing in a series of dinner challenges.
Gabriel, a 56-year-old from Dortmund and aspiring wine bar owner, kicks off the week with a French-inspired menu titled 'Pott küsst Frankreich.' His dishes include pistachio, brioche, and tomato for the appetizer, followed by Angus beef with mushrooms for the main course, and a vanilla and chocolate dessert.
Subsequent hosts include Franzi (25) with a 'Pretty in Pink' theme, Katrin (37) featuring American and German fusion, Tim (38) with a nut-focused menu, and a fifth contestant to conclude the week. The program airs weekdays at 7 PM on VOX.
