Ruixing Cup Rhythmic Gymnastics International Invitational to be held in Taipei

The sixth Ruixing Cup Rhythmic Gymnastics International Invitational is set to take place at the Taipei Gymnasium on August 16 and 17. The event features 187 athletes from 14 countries, with foreign participants numbering 94, surpassing the 93 local athletes for the first time. To ensure fairness, the competition will utilize a mix of Taiwanese and international judges.

Ruscha, the event founder, shared that her 9-year-old daughter, Nika, will compete, while her 4-year-old daughter, Mila, will perform during the opening ceremony. Ruscha noted that Nika has become more confident through the sport, having won national team championships for two consecutive years.

Amidst the preparations, Ruscha expressed emotional concern for her 80-year-old grandmother, who remains in Ukraine due to the ongoing war. Because of her grandmother's health and the conflict, the family has been unable to arrange a physical meeting, though they maintain contact through daily video calls. Ruscha hopes for a future opportunity for her daughters to meet their great-grandmother.
