Rumer Willis seeks emergency custody order for daughter

Rumer Willis has filed an emergency legal request to maintain supervised visitation for her ex-partner, Derek Richard Thomas, regarding their three-year-old daughter, Louetta. Willis is seeking to block a previous court ruling that would have allowed Thomas to transition to unsupervised overnight visits.

Willis alleges that Thomas has repeatedly violated custody orders and demonstrated poor judgment that endangers their child. Specific allegations include Thomas refusing to allow a court-appointed nanny into his residence, walking the child for miles in extreme heat instead of using a vehicle, and attempting to cross a high-speed highway with the toddler. Willis also raised concerns regarding potential substance use.

Thomas and his attorney, Mike Kreczmer, have denied all allegations, characterizing Willis’ claims as “lie after lie” and “materially false.” Thomas argues that Willis is attempting to circumvent court orders, specifically citing her move to Nashville as an unauthorized action that hinders his parental rights. A court hearing is scheduled for September 10 to address these disputes.
