Run in Lyon 2026: Alexis Garod and Anne-Sophie Chaume win marathon

The 2026 Run in Lyon attracted approximately 36,000 participants for a series of races including the marathon, semi-marathon, 10 km, and a solidarity run. The event saw high levels of engagement from both runners and spectators throughout the streets of Lyon.

In the marathon, Alexis Garod secured the men's victory with a time of 2:23:44, followed by Swan Blanc. Anne-Sophie Chaume won the women's marathon, finishing in approximately 2:47:48, ahead of Pauline Bourrin.

The semi-marathon results saw Bastien Augusto take first place in the men's category with a time of 1:03:15, while Anaïs Quemener won the women's race in 1:13:58. The event featured a renewed course that avoided the Croix-Rousse tunnel, passing through the Saône quays, Parc de la Tête d'Or, and the Rhône quays.
