Runa Nakagawa of FRUITS ZIPPER announces indefinite hiatus due to health

Runa Nakagawa, a member of the idol group FRUITS ZIPPER, will take an indefinite hiatus from all activities due to poor health. The group announced on October 10 that, following a medical diagnosis, it has been determined that Nakagawa requires a period of rest and recuperation.

As a result of this hiatus, Nakagawa will be unable to participate in upcoming scheduled events. This announcement follows previous reports of her absence from specific tour dates in Osaka and her withdrawal from an appearance on the program ‘NHK Nodojiman’ due to ongoing health concerns.

Nakagawa, who recently announced a solo debut scheduled for September 2026, has been a prominent figure in the group, representing the color purple. Her background includes early experience as a child actor and model, as well as time spent studying abroad in the United States.
