Runable raises $21 million for AI-driven small business growth

Runable, an Indian startup based in Bengaluru, has secured $21 million in a Series A funding round, bringing its post-money valuation to $65 million. The round was co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from Together Fund and Array VC.

Founded in 2025 by Umesh Kumar and Saksham Sarda, the company employs a team of 15. Runable distinguishes itself from other AI builders by focusing on business growth rather than just content creation. While many tools focus on generating websites, logos, or presentations, Runable’s AI agent is designed to handle customer acquisition.

Users can provide natural language instructions to perform complex business tasks, such as building a website, deploying it, setting up analytics, and launching advertising campaigns to attract customers. Despite its rapid growth and high user engagement, the startup currently operates with negative gross margins as it subsidizes AI usage and develops its own proprietary models.
