Running events held in Kielce and Bełchatów
Various running events are being held across Poland to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
In Kielce, over 200 participants took part in the "Botaniczna piątka" held at the Kielce Botanical Garden. The event featured different distances based on age, with the eldest participants running 5 km and younger runners completing shorter tracks ranging from 150 meters to 1 km. The initiative, organized by the "Biegiem w las" Association, aims to encourage outdoor activity and tourism within botanical gardens.
In Bełchatów, the sixth edition of the "Piątka szyta na miarę" street race is being organized by the City of Bełchatów, the Municipal Sports Center, and the Spartacus Bełchatów Runners Club. The event includes a main 5 km race with a 200-person limit, a 2.5 km Family Run, and a race for children known as the "Bieg Krasnala." The course, which is certified by the Polish Athletic Association, will start and finish at Narutowicz Square.
