Running events scheduled for November 8 in Italy

Two separate athletic events are scheduled to take place in Italy on Sunday, November 8.

In Ellera di Corciano, the ninth edition of the “Straquasar” will feature an 11 km running race starting and ending at the Quasar Village shopping center. The event includes the “Quasar Walking” 8 km walk through the countryside and a 3 km walk for schools. The race route will pass through Solomeo and includes sections restricted to motor vehicle traffic. The event is organized by Unatici Ellera Corciano and Cdp Atletica Perugia.

In Taranto, the 48th edition of the “Strataranto” half marathon will be held, with portions of the race taking place within the Scuola Volontari Aeronautica Militare. Local authorities have announced significant traffic and parking modifications to ensure athlete safety. Parking will be prohibited in several areas, including via Garibaldi, via Di Mezzo, and via D’Aquino, while various streets and squares will be closed to vehicle traffic between 8:00 and 13:00.
