Running events scheduled for October in Pavia and Genoa

Several major running events are scheduled to take place in Italy this October. The 22nd CorriPavia Half Marathon is set to begin on Sunday, October 11, 2026, in Pavia. The event is currently sold out, with over 5,000 participants expected across various distances, including the Mini CorriPavia Trofeo Scuole. The participant demographic shows a significant female presence exceeding 35%, with athletes arriving from various Italian regions and several international locations, including Romania, the United Kingdom, and Brazil.

In Genoa, the Trail del Diamante – Memorial Cristiano Capelli will be held on October 17 and 18. The weekend features a non-competitive 6 km trail walk on Saturday, followed by competitive races on Sunday. These include the Ultra del Diamante, a 45 km course with 2,500 meters of elevation gain, and a 24 km trail race that is part of the FIDAL Grand Prix Trail Liguria 2026. A non-competitive 24 km march is also included for participants of all ages.
