Running events scheduled for September 20 in Milazzo and Milan

Several running events are scheduled to take place in Italy on Sunday, September 20, 2026, involving various distances and urban routes.

In Milazzo, the XI Trofeo Città di Milazzo, a 10-kilometer national race organized by Asd Polisportiva Milazzo, will be held from 8:00 to 12:00. The event is part of the Grand Prix Sicilia. Local authorities have announced temporary traffic changes and parking bans along the route, which includes Lungomare Garibaldi, via G. Medici, and Piazza C. Duilio, to ensure participant safety.

In Milan, the 16th edition of Salomon Running Milano will feature urban trail routes including gravel sections and stairs. Organized by Team OTC, the event offers multiple distances: a 20 km competitive race for FIDAL members, followed by non-competitive runs of 19.9 km, 15 km, and 10 km. A notable feature of this year's course is a passage under the CityWave canopy in the CityLife district.
