Running events scheduled in Mestre and Udine

Several running events are scheduled across Italy in September. In the Venice municipality, the Flash run will take place on September 11, organized by Asd San Giorgio. This non-competitive event offers 6.5 km and 10 km routes, with proceeds supporting the association's activities for youth. Following this, the 17th edition of the Maratonina di Mestre will be held on September 13, featuring three different course lengths of 6, 11, and 19 kilometers, with a finish line and village located in Piazza Ferretto.

In Udine, the 26th International Udine Half Marathon is set for September 18 to 20, 2026. The event features a new, certified course that extends into the territory of Tavagnacco. The weekend includes various activities such as the Salita del Castello hill climb, a mini-run, and a dog run. A new initiative, the Fiaso Run, will serve as the first national championship for healthcare workers, with Italian Health Minister Orazio Schillaci expected to attend a related conference.
