Ružomberok hosts solidarity event and prepares for football match

The city of Ružomberok and Vagus have announced a solidarity event scheduled for November 26, 2026, at the MFK Ružomberok football stadium. The event aims to raise awareness regarding extreme poverty and the living conditions of homeless individuals through a panel discussion with experts, a concert by Los Bombarderos, and a film screening.

A material collection for the homeless will also take place from November 23 to 27, 2026, at the Ružomberok Municipal Office, where citizens can donate items such as warm socks, jackets, hats, and gloves.

In sports news, MFK Ružomberok is preparing for its final Niké liga match before the international break. The team will face FK Železiarne Podbrezová on Sunday, November 8, following a recent 1:0 victory against Skalica.
