Ružomberok police detain repeat sexual predator Ivan H

Police in Ružomberok, Slovakia, have detained a 44-year-old man, identified as Ivan H., on charges of attempted sexual abuse. A judge has approved his detention following an investigation by the District Directorate of the Police Force.

The suspect is reportedly a repeat offender who previously appeared in the Czech documentary ‘V sieti’, which examined the behavior of online sexual aggressors. The investigation follows an incident where the man allegedly proposed sexual contact to a fictitious 13-year-old girl online.

Members of the Czech group ‘Detektivní parta’ traveled to Slovakia to confront the suspect. According to Tomáš Waluš of the group, the man admitted during the encounter that he has been engaging in such behavior for ten years and has communicated with numerous minors.
