Ruoning Yin wins Buick LPGA Shanghai at Sheshan Golf Club
Ruoning Yin secured her seventh LPGA Tour title and her second Buick LPGA Shanghai victory with a one-stroke win at Sheshan Golf Club. Yin finished with an 11-under 277 total, overcoming a deficit to edge out South Korea’s Hye-Jin Choi, who finished at 10-under par.
Yin clinched the win by sinking a four-foot birdie putt on the 16th hole to break a tie with Choi. The victory marks Yin’s second title of the 2026 season and moves her past Danielle Kang in career LPGA wins. For her performance, Yin earned a top payout of $480,000 from the $3.2 million purse.
Amy Yang finished in third place, three strokes behind the leader. Other notable performances included defending champion Jeeno Thitikul, who finished tied for eighth, and Australian Grace Kim, who moved up to 58th in the season-long points race following a 13th-place finish.
