Ruppertshalle renovation: Council approves new facade design

The municipal council of Ruppertsweiler has reached a significant milestone in the general renovation of the Ruppertshalle by deciding on the building's exterior design. Following a meeting on September 21, the council majority selected a ‘sandstone’ color scheme, which utilizes a combination of brown, bronze, and rose tones.

The decision follows an intensive coordination process involving a specialized working group that evaluated various design options for the facade, window frames, and other components. The goal was to select a solution that strengthens the architectural character of the building while ensuring it integrates harmoniously into the local landscape.

Nina Schäfer, managing partner of GGP, noted that the decision and the released visualizations provide the public with a tangible view of the project's future and establish a binding foundation for the next phases of execution planning.
