Rural road infrastructure projects completed in Tipacoque and Rionegro
Local administrations in Tipacoque and Rionegro have announced the completion of rural road improvements using 'placa huella' construction methods to enhance mobility in agricultural areas.
In Tipacoque, the municipal administration finalized road works in the La Carrera vereda, aimed at benefiting local residents through improved rural infrastructure.
In Rionegro, the Mayor's Office reported the delivery of 494 linear meters of 'placa huella' across the Yarumal, La Quiebra, and El Progreso veredas within the José María Córdova district. The project in El Progreso and La Quiebra involved five sections totaling 494 meters, supported by a municipal investment of $857,593,880. In Yarumal, the construction was completed through community collaboration and 'convites' with support from the Secretariat of Infrastructure and the Empresa de Desarrollo Sostenible (EDESO). These works are intended to facilitate the transport of agricultural products and improve daily travel for farming families.
