Rural tourism highlights historical villages in Toledo and Segovia

Various regions in Spain are highlighting their historical and natural heritage to promote rural tourism. In the province of Toledo, locations such as Consuegra and Tembleque are noted for their significant cultural assets. Consuegra features the Castle of La Muela and a well-preserved collection of 12 original windmills. Tembleque is recognized for its 17th-century Plaza Mayor, which is declared a Cultural Interest Asset.

In the province of Segovia, the municipality of Ayllón is being featured in a provincial tourism campaign titled ‘The province of Segovia, a whole world to discover’. The campaign uses the slogan ‘It is not Provence, it is Ayllón’ to showcase the medieval town's cobblestone streets, reddish architecture, and its location at the foot of the Sierra de Ayllón.
