Rural Vietnamese schools focus on education and cultural preservation

Educational initiatives in rural Vietnam are focusing on improving infrastructure and preserving ethnic cultural identities. In the ‘Dat To’ region, efforts are underway to standardize school facilities and streamline school networks in accordance with provincial plans for the 2026–2030 period. Despite challenges such as non-synchronized facilities and aging classrooms, schools like Tam Son Kindergarten are working to provide safe, child-centered environments.

In Quang Ngai province, highland schools are integrating traditional culture into the curriculum to combat the influence of modern entertainment trends. Programs such as the folk culture club at Dinh Thanh Khang boarding school allow students to learn traditional musical instruments and folk songs from local artisans. These initiatives aim to foster national pride and create resources for sustainable community-based eco-tourism.
