Ruse hosts World Jet Water Sports Championship

The World Jet Water Sports Championship and the European Junior Championship (GT-15 class) have officially opened in Ruse, Bulgaria. For the first time, the country is hosting the final round of the F-500 ‘royal class’ and the European junior competition.

Mayor Pencho Milkov inaugurated the events at the Ruse quay, noting that the championships are part of a municipal strategy to develop water sports and attract young athletes. The ceremonies were attended by officials including Vahur Joala of the International Jet Sports Federation and Todor Hristov, President of the Bulgarian Jet Sports Federation.

The competitions are scheduled to take place from August 21 to August 23.
