Rush band celebrates legacy with tour and Rock Hall event

The legendary Canadian rock band Rush is currently on their ‘Fifty Something’ tour, marking the group’s first tour in over a decade and their first since the 2020 passing of drummer Neil Peart. The revamped lineup features original members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, joined by drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold.

In conjunction with the tour, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland will host ‘RUSH the Rock Hall’ from September 17-20. This four-day event, held in partnership with RushCon, will feature exhibits of band artifacts, including new pieces from Lee and Lifeson, as well as educational programming and special conversations. Scheduled highlights include a discussion on the band’s visual history with collaborator Hugh Syme and a presentation on the ‘Clockwork Angels’ book series with author Kevin J. Anderson.

The tour has recently included performances in Philadelphia, where the band played a comprehensive setlist including classics such as ‘Tom Sawyer’ and ‘2112’.
