Russell Crowe and Priyanka Chopra Jonas to star in thriller Bluefly

Oscar winner Russell Crowe and Indian superstar Priyanka Chopra Jonas will star in the upcoming sci-fi action thriller "Bluefly." Directed by Nimród Antal, the film features a script by David Frigerio and William & Carlyle Eubank.

The story is set in the depths of the Congo and follows a UN translator involved in a secret mission to locate a downed aircraft that does not officially exist. As a Special Forces team navigates rebel-controlled territory, the mission evolves into a dark descent as they realize their true objective was never to recover the aircraft.

Highland Film Group is managing global rights, with sales beginning at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Filming is scheduled to commence later this year on the Gold Coast of Australia.
