Russell Crowe announces new film and documentary projects

Actor and musician Russell Crowe is set to release two distinct projects. The action thriller ‘La vendetta perfetta – Bear Country’, directed by Derrick Borte, arrives in Italian theaters on August 26. In the film, Crowe plays Manco Kapac, an Albanian immigrant and nightclub owner in Los Angeles who becomes entangled in a robbery while attempting to retire. The film features a cast including Luke Evans, Aaron Paul, and Teresa Palmer.

On August 30, Crowe will present his documentary ‘What Love Builds’ at the Venice Film Festival. Described as his most personal work, the documentary explores his musical journey and his ‘Indoor Garden Party’ project, which functions as a fluid festival bringing together musicians and storytellers.

Crowe also has several upcoming projects, including the Netflix series ‘Unabomber’ arriving September 25, the film ‘Beast’ releasing October 1, and the 2027 remake ‘The Last Druid’.
