Russia accuses US of supporting biological weapon development in Ukraine
Konstantin Vorontsov, Deputy Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Department for Non-Proliferation and Arms Control, has accused the United States of supporting military-biological programs in Ukraine. Speaking at the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, Vorontsov claimed that research into biological weapon components has been conducted or is currently ongoing in laboratories located near the Russian border.
Vorontsov stated that these activities are supported by the Pentagon and various affiliated private entities. He noted that analysis of projects within Ukrainian laboratories suggests the development of biological weapon components. To support these claims, the Russian official cited statements from former US National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard regarding Washington's long-term funding of potentially risky virus experiments in over 120 overseas biological laboratories, including more than 40 located in Ukraine.
