Russia and Iran expand clandestine military and intelligence cooperation

Leaked documents and investigations have revealed a sophisticated military partnership between Russia and Iran designed to bypass international sanctions. Russia has established a clandestine supply network to provide Iran with advanced weaponry, including 24 Mi-28NE attack helicopters and various armored vehicles. To conceal these transactions, the parties utilized offshore entities and secret pseudonyms, such as designating Iran as ‘Foreign Client 364’.

Beyond hardware, Russia is reportedly investing in Iran’s long-term operational capabilities by providing advanced flight simulators for pilot training. This systemic alliance is expected to continue at least through 2029, potentially utilizing Chinese technology to further evade global restrictions.

In a related development, reports indicate that Russia has deployed a network of 14 military spy satellites to monitor United States forces and installations in the Middle East.
