Russia and the United States schedule talks to address bilateral tensions

Russia and the United States are currently determining a date for upcoming contact to address bilateral tensions. Maria Zakharova stated that Moscow is prepared to listen to constructive proposals from the United States regarding the conflict in Ukraine.

Regarding potential visits to Russia by U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff or Jared Kushner, Zakharova noted that while Moscow is willing to organize such trips on short notice, no official request has been received. This follows recent statements from President Donald Trump, who declined a request from President Zelensky for additional Patriot missile interceptors, citing the need to prioritize U.S. domestic stockpiles.
