Russia and Ukraine exchange strikes on hospitals, ports, and refineries

Ongoing military actions between Russia and Ukraine have targeted critical infrastructure in both nations. In Ukraine, a children's hospital in Kyiv was struck by Russian bombing. Additionally, Russian forces attacked the port area of Izmail near Odesa, causing fires in the facility located near the Romanian border. As a major Danube port, damage to Izmail impacts grain exports, which are vital to Ukraine's economy.

In retaliation, Ukraine has conducted long-range strikes against Russian targets. A refinery in Orsk, Orenburg Oblast, was bombed, and a Wildberries logistics center in Voronezj Oblast caught fire. Ukrainian forces have also targeted Russian naval assets in Novorossijsk and petrochemical facilities deep within Russian territory to disrupt military logistics and oil infrastructure.
