Russia and Vietnam expand technical and scientific education cooperation

Russia and Vietnam are working to strengthen cooperation in technical, scientific, and technological education. A recent forum organized by the Russian Embassy in Vietnam, the Russian Trade Representative Office, Rossotrudnichestvo, and the Alliance of Russian-Vietnamese Technical Universities focused on establishing practical mechanisms for this partnership.

The discussions centered on two main areas: meeting industrial human resource needs and advancing joint scientific research. Participants addressed the demand for engineering and technical personnel over the next three to five years, emphasizing the need for practice-oriented training and modern educational programs.

Proposed initiatives include developing joint bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, as well as implementing language and teacher training. Other areas of focus involve organizing professional internships, establishing specialized training centers and laboratories, and collaborating on the operation and maintenance of technology and equipment.
