Russia claims control of two settlements amid regional diplomatic talks

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its military forces have taken control of two settlements. Units from the ‘Center’ group secured Novohryshyne in the Donetsk region, while the ‘East’ group took control of Zorevka in the Zaporizhzhia region. The Ministry stated that over the past week, its operations resulted in the destruction of more than 5,000 Ukrainian military personnel, along with various armored vehicles and artillery equipment.

Separately, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The leaders discussed regional processes, specifically focusing on the unblocking of communications within the region. Pashinyan expressed hope that political mutual understanding would allow for new opportunities for cooperation between Armenia and Uzbekistan.
