Additionally, the SVR claims that forged documents are being prepared to falsely implicate members of the Russian Armed Forces in the alleged activities.

The SVR stated that the objective of this alleged operation is to undermine Russia's relations with Latin American nations and pressure their governments to adopt Western-aligned policies. As of the latest reports, the governments of Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, and Ukraine have not issued official responses to these allegations.
