Russia implements temporary ceasefire in Alyoshki for humanitarian operation

Russian forces have established a temporary ceasefire and a regime of silence on the Kherson front to facilitate a humanitarian operation in Alyoshki.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitri Peskov stated that the Russian government expects Kyiv to adhere to the agreements reached for the operation. Peskov noted that the ceasefire mechanism in Alyoshki could potentially serve as a model for similar agreements in other conflict sectors. This development follows reports from the Russian Ministry of Defense claiming that Ukrainian forces had attacked Alyoshki more than 100 times within a single week.
