Russia launches new military spacecraft from Plesetsk
Russia has successfully launched a new military spacecraft into orbit using a Soyuz-2. 1b rocket. The launch was conducted by the Russian Space Forces from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk Region at 5:40 a.m. Moscow time.
According to the Russian Defence Ministry, the spacecraft reached its designated orbit and has been placed under the control of ground-based Space Forces systems. The ministry reported that stable telemetry communication has been established and that all onboard systems are functioning normally.
