Russia maintains stance on Ukraine conflict conditions

Russian officials have reiterated that while Moscow seeks an end to the conflict in Ukraine, any resolution must be achieved under Russia's specific conditions to prevent future escalations or a global conflict.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitri Peskov stated that the Russian military will continue its operations as the situation on the ground for Kyiv continues to deteriorate. He noted that Russia's requirements for ending the conflict remain unchanged from those announced by President Vladimir Putin and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs two years ago.

Dmitri Medvedev, Vice President of the Security Council, warned that failure to conclude the hostilities on Russia's terms could lead to a worldwide conflict. He emphasized that Russia must secure a victory to prevent adversaries from continuing hybrid warfare aimed at eroding the foundations of the Russian state.
